Richard E. Musso

We are sad to announce that on Feb. 3, 2022, at the age of 79, Richard E. Musso of Kissimmee, Fla., passed away.

Richard was born in Westfield, N.Y., on January 4, 1943, and lived most of his life in Brocton, N.Y., before relocating to Florida.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter J. and Mayme (Graziano) Musso; a niece, Kathy Musso; and a stepson, Mark J. Reiman.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Carolyn M. Musso; children: Richard P. Musso and Julie (James) O’Connor; a step-son, Patrick (Penny) Reiman; one brother, Peter Musso; one sister, Judy (Robert) Nixon, along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Richard attended Brocton Central School in Brocton, N.Y., and later received his high school diploma through the GED program.

In his early years, Richard was employed by Haywood Motors, Walcott Dairy, the Village of Brocton, Chautauqua Energy, and was the owner of Richard E. Musso Grape Farms. His final job was with the State University of New York (SUNY) Fredonia from which he retired in 2005.

Richard will be missed and we will always carry his memory in our hearts.
