Shirley J. (Campbell) Crockett died peacefully surrounded by her family on February 13, 2022 at Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, FL after a short illness.
Shirley was born in Rayburn, PA on June 12, 1933. She is the daughter of George and Mary (Gilger) Campbell. Shirley is survived by three children Edward (Phyllis) Crockett, John (Patty) Crockett, and Jeanne (Ted) Kulig; sister-in-law Delores Campbell and bother-in-law Donald (Juanita) Crockett. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Michele (Pa-trick) Crockett-Shing, Nicole (Stefan) Crockett-Willms, Shelby (Holley) Thomas, Kristeen (Samuel) DeJesus, Amanda (Jared) Kulig-Winder, Teddy Kulig, James Crockett, Jason (Jennifer) Crockett. Shirley adored each of her 7 great-grandchildren and her 3 great-great- grandchildren.
Shirley was pre-deceased by her parents, her beloved husband James (Wesley) Crockett, two sons James Crockett Jr., and George Crockett, one grandson Timothy Kulig, two broth-ers Ralph Campbell, Joe Campbell, and sister-in-law Phyllis Campbell.
Shirley was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great- great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. Shirley had a long-time career with M. Wiles in Dunkirk, NY. She had a passion for gardening, cooking, spending time with her extended family, listening to her husband play the guitar and taking evening rides along the beautiful lakeside of her hometown.
A memorial to celebrate her life will be held at Winter Oaks funeral home in Winter Garden, FL Wednesday February 16 at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks donations to be made to Matthew’s Hope Ministries: matthewshopeministries.org, 611 Business Park Blvd. #101 Winter Garden, Fl. 34787 in Shirley’s name.
