Jose A. Vargas

He was born on March 30, 1952, in Santa Isabelle, Puerto Rico, to Jose and Alvalle de Vargas.

Jose has left behind a beautiful family, his wife of 36 years, Lourdes Gonzelez Vargas; his boys: Jose A. Jr., Daniel, Samuel, Angel and Joel; his daughters: Myriam, Lourdes and Merati (Bobby) Delanoy; 36 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Jose was preceded in death by his son, Richard.

He was a self employed carpenter just like Jesus Christ. Jose held the position of associate pastor under the direction of Pastor Arroyo at Iglesia Getsemani Assembly of God Church located in Dunkirk, N.Y. He was blessed to leave behind a great legacy. Now we rejoice because we know he is in the presence of God.

His funeral service will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022, at 4 p.m., at the Vessel of Honor Inc. Church, 601 Eagle St., in Dunkirk, N.Y., where relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service and may call at the church from 2-7 p.m.
