James Richard Boyer
KENNEDY — James Richard Boyer, 71, of Waterman Road, Kennedy, town of Ellington, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022, at home while under the care of Hospice with his wife Jody at his side.
He was born February 12, 1951 in Ridgeway, PA, the son of the late George Blaine and Cora Lucille Reid Boyer.
Jim was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Serving from September 18, 1968 until his honorable discharge on December 7, 1970. He continued on in the Marine Corp Reserves until December 7, 1974.
He was an over the road truck driver, owning his working for many years and lastly working for Smith Transport out of Roaring Springs, PA.
He is survived by his wife Jody (Willsie) Boyer, a son, Joshua Boyer of Kennedy, Several Siblings and Nieces and nephews.
