Fred W. Myers Jr.

Fred peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sept. 27, 2022, at Absolut Care Westfield, N.Y.

Fred was born in Kittanning, Pa. He grew up in Westfield, N.Y., and later joined the U.S. Marines Corps where he spent six years serving his country. He later became a semi driver and drove for several companies until his retirement in 2012.

He enjoyed family, christian hymns, dogs, Pittsburg Steelers, NASCAR racing, drag racing, and local dirt track racing.

Fred is survived by his wife of 35 years, Betty (Alford) Myers; his sons: Mike (Shelly) Myers of Stockton, N.Y., and Roger (Jen) Myers of Erie, Pa.; Step-daughter, Tracy (Mike) Moon and stepson. Steven Richard all of Westfield, N.Y. Many grandchildren from Westfield and Stockton, N.Y.; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He is further survived by a brother, Paul (Maryann) Myers of Westfield, N.Y.; sisters: Sue Colvenback of Fredonia, N.Y., and Lois (Robert) Bialaszewski of Silvercreek, N.Y.

Fred is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Lenora (Bowser) Myers; son, Fred Myers III; sister, Donna Hanson; and brother-in-law,Harold Colvenback
