Lois M. Jones

Lois was born Feb. 28, 1928, in Westfield, N.Y. the daughter of the late Lawrence and Gertrude (Ellis) Nichols.

She attended Westfield Central School and follow-ng high school, she married the love of her life, Harold A. Jones on April 26, 1949. Together they raised nine wonderful children.

Lois enjoyed being outdoors and worked for Felton Farms of Westfield in the grape vineyards for many years.

In her spare time, she loved playing cards, putting puzzles together, watching Western movies, and crocheting, but most of all, Lois loved spending time with her family.

Left behind to cherish her memories are her daughters; Laura Mason, Lola (Joe) Warpool, Loretta (Doug) Auge, Lucy (Brad) Hawker; sons: Joel (Greta) Jones, James (the late Beverly) Jones, John Jones; and daughters-in-law, Beverly Jones and Kathe Jones.

Many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren and beloved great-great-grandchildren further survive.

In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold A. Jones, 2010; sons: Harold Jr. 2002, and Jeffrey Jones 2012. Grandson, James; and great-granddaughter, Kayla Tolbert.

Visitation will be at the West Portland Baptist Church, 7081 East Route 20, Westfield, N.Y., on Dec. 10, 2022, from 10 until 11 a.m. where funeral services will begin there at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Charlie Robertson officiating.

Private burial will be in the Westfield Cemetery.
