Angela John

Born March 27, 1967 in Salamanca, NY, she was the daughter of the late Ellen Button John.

She was an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Wolf Clan.

She was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1985, and attended Onondaga Community College, Syracuse, NY.

Angela enjoyed the outdoors and camping with her family. She also enjoyed watching her cooking shows as well as the Discovery ID. She was an avid reader and gardener. She also supported the Buffalo Bills. She will be remembered for her laughter and her joy of dance.

Surviving are: a daughter, Teresa Redeye, Steamburg, NY; a son, John Redeye, Salamanca, NY; a niece, Ariel John, Salamanca, NY; two nephews, Winston John, Salamanca, NY, Samuel Zamora, San Antonio, TX.

She was predeceased by a sister, Wendy John, and a brother, Geoffrey John.

Friends may call at the O’Rourke & O’Rourke Inc Funeral Home, 25 River Street, Salamanca, NY on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 3 – 7pm.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 10am with Rev. Marvin Abrams officiating.

Burial will be in Hillside Haven Cemetery, Steamburg, NY.
