Sandra L. “Sandy” Jacobs

She was born March 31, 1953 in the Town of Hanover, the daughter of the late Roger and Geraldine (Henry) Newton

Mrs. Jacobs was a graduate of the class of 1972 at Forestville High School and was a retired WalMart Greeter in Fredonia. Earlier on she had worked at the former K-Mart and she was a Home Maker to her two daughters.

Sandy was a member of the Silver Creek Volunteer Fire Department and the Fire Department Auxiliary, as well as the Grape Vine Rebecca Lodge. She enjoyed watching Television, doing crossword puzzles, reading the newspaper and she was a huge Jeff Gordon NASCAR fan and a Tom Brady NFL fan.

Surviving are two daughters, Michele (Dan Rolfe) Jacobs and Carolyn (Brian) Sheldon, two grandchildren, Nicole and Christopher Sheldon.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents Roger and Geraldine, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date and will be announced. Arrangements were entrusted to the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church Street, Randolph, NY 14772.
