Ariel Alvardo, 62, died on February 17, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, NY. He was born on February 23, 1961, in Jayuya, Puerto Rico to the late Ariel Alvardo, Sr. and Gladys Rivera (who died in January of this year)..
Ariel, also know as “Jerry” was a resident of Dunkirk, NY. He had been a farmer worker in the Fredonia, NY and Dunkirk, NY areas. Jerry was a man who was loved by many. He enjoyed fishing, fixing bicycles, and installing music onto his bikes. He also enjoyed going to the casino. But most of all, he loved being with his family and friends.
Ariel suffered a long time with a serious health condition, but, it never stopped him from being himself and showing love to others.
Ariel is survived by his two sisters, Evelyn Molina and Miriam Rivera, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and many friends, whom he dearly loved.
Besides his parents, Ariel was preceded in death by his son, Luis Alvardo, and his brother, Carlos Alvardo.
Ariel was comfortable when it was time for him to be with his mother , father, son, and brother and other his other Mama Santa.
Ariel’s viewing will be on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 5:00 – 7: 00 PM. His Funeral Service will be on Friday at 11:00 AM at the FANTAUZZI FUNERAL HOME, 82 East Main Street, Fredonia, NY. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Dunkirk, NY.
