David Csombok

He was born July 1, 1961 in Erie, Pennsylvania. The son of the late Linda Ramirez and late father Istean Csombok.

An area resident for most of his life, David worked at Strikes Bar for many years. His friends knew him as “Chom”. He enjoyed going to Tim Hortons every morning. David also loved fishing, camping, and going to the demolition derby.

Survivors include several brothers and sisters. Glenn Csombok of Erie, PA; Angelo (Mary) Ramirez Jr., Michael (Amy) Ramirez of South Dayton, NY; Daniel (Gina) Ramirez of Angola, NY; Paula (Pat) Santangelo, Michelle (James) Ramirez, Yolanda (Chad) Butts of Dunkirk, NY; and several nieces and nephews. And his best friend Nick Schrantz.

Preceded in death by our mother Linda Ramirez, his father Istean Csombok, and his dog, Day Day.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Dunkirk Elks Lodge, 428 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, NY. Luncheon to be held directly after service.

Arrangements are by the John E. Roberts Funeral Home in Amherst, NY.
