Joan D. Kieber

Born in Buffalo November 4, 1937 the daughter of Arthur and Dorothy (Roth) Neidhardt.

Joan married Carl Kieber November 24, 1956 at the Harris Hill United Methodists Church in Clarence. They raised their family in the Marilla area before moving to Perrysburg. Joan was active with Loth Lorien Therapeutic Riding Stables , the family showed Appaloosa Horses and would travel throughout the United States to do so. Joan was an active member of the WNY Appaloosa Organization in the 70’s , she loved the outdoors and horses and continued that love when she and her husband moved close to their daughter in Perrysburg . When Joan and Carl first moved to Gowanda Joan worked in the Deli Dept. of the former Jubilee Foods in Gowanda, (She worked in the deli for nearly 10 years) ; it gave her a chance to meet the people in the area and she remained friends with many she met. Joan was a member of the former Perrysburg United Methodist Church and delivered meals on wheels to shut ins,

Surviving besides her husband Carl of nearly 67 years are their children; Mike ( Carol) Kieber of Maryland Mark ( Andrea) Kieber of Texas Kim ( Kelly) Hedges of Perrysburg and Scott Kieber of Marilla . Grandchildren Steven Hedges and Timothy Kieber also survive along with Mina ; Carl and Joan’s Lab that was a big part of their family

A Celebration of Joan’s life will be done at the convenience of the family, there will be no prior visitation or service
