Judith Owen Kawski

Judy was married to Lt Col Alfred Kawski on October 1, 1960 and embarked on a lifetime of adventure and travel that was influenced by military transfers.

Time was spent in Mississippi, France, Colorado, and Las Vegas, Nevada before returning home to Brocton for retirement.

Judy and her husband, Al, ran Owen’s Country Store before it was sold.

Judy’s love for travel continued finding her on a zip line in the Amazon at age 72.

Her passion for gardening, animals, and teaching painting, which she referred to as “therapy” are visible in the many works of art that she created. She was a member of the Bud ‘n Bloom Garden Club of Fredonia, New York.

The couple moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2021 to be closer to family.

Judy is survived by her husband, Alfred; three children, Scott Kawski, Pamela Craig, and Jennifer Kawski; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a sister, Roberta Young.
