WESTFIELD – Stacy Ann Holland, 49, of Westfield, NY, passed away at home unexpectedly Thursday, April 13, 2023, following recent health issues. She was born March 21, 1974, in Westfield, NY, a daughter to Lyle (Marsha) Holland and Patricia Ptak. Stacy leaves behind her three sons; Cole, Logan, Noah, and stepson Marcus.

Stacy attended Westfield Academy and Central School and was a graduate of the Class of 1992. She continued her education at D’Youville where she earned her bachelor’s degree in education. She worked in the Baltimore (MD) School system for 18 years, then moved back home to Westfield to work as a Special Education teacher at Westfield Academy and Central School. Stacy was also a member of the Westfield Recreation Committee.

Stacy was a devoted mother who always put her children’s needs before her own. She worked tirelessly to provide for them, and her sons were her greatest joy in life. Stacy enjoyed spending time with her children and family and especially loved watching Cole, Logan and Noah playing sports. She also loved her students and coworkers at Westfield Academy and Central School, who also loved her. She was an advocate for her students, an excellent educator and an amazing coworker.

Besides her children, Stacy is also survived by her parents and siblings: Thomas (Jessica) Holland, Dawn (Jeremiah) Stanton, Beth (Steve) Jagoda, Amanda (Robert) Perdue, Becky (Bill) Pearce, Jessica Hagle, Cindy Ptak, Michael Ptak, Christine (Jon) Ptak, Kevin Ptak, Gordon (Lindsey) Jaynes, Rachel (James) O’Rourke, Jacob (Holly) Jaynes and Amanda Beach. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Stacy was preceded in death by John Tuah (father of the children) and Michael Ptak (step-father) and beloved sister, Missy Hagle.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at the First Baptist Church, 19 Union Street, Westfield, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; and again from 2:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. when funeral services will begin there with Rev. Matt Wolfe officiating.

Burial will be private in Westfield Cemetery.
