William Richard “Billy” Centner
William Richard “Billy” Centner, 54, of Fredonia, NY, died unexpectedly Friday May 26, 2023 at Buffalo General Hospital. He was born January 30, 1969 to Richard and Geraldine (Vacanti) Centner. Billy was a graduate of Fredonia High School. On June7, 1997 Billy married his wife, Carole St. George. He was a master carpenter and owned and operated WRC Carpentry. Billy was a skilled craftsman who made beautiful cabinets and refinished furniture. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish and hunt. Above all, he was dedicated to family.
Billy is survived by: his wife Carole Centner; a daughter Kaitlan (Brandon) Just, of North Carolina; his grandson, James “The King” Just; his mother, Geraldine (Vacanti) Centner of Fredonia, NY; two sisters: Catherine Burgess of Westfield, NY, and Jennifer Centner of Fredonia, NY; a brother Rick Centner of Georgia; brother-in-law, Steve St. George; sisters-in-law: Barb Flagella, Mary Lou (Doug) Jaffray and Shelly St. George, all of Fredonia; also survived by several nieces and nephews and his dog, Oreo.
He is predeceased by: his father, Richard Centner; grandparents: Stella and Joseph Vacanti; brothers- in-law: Anthony “Nin” St. George, Donald St. George and Frank Flagella; mother-in-law Nancy St. George and father-in-law, Anthony St. George.
Visitation will be Wednesday , 4-7 pm at the LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Ave. Fredonia, NY.
