Albert attended Mayville Central School until joining the US Marine Corps where he served 3 years. He was an IBEW electrician by trade, joining in 1964. As an electrician, he was able to work throughout the continental states, where he made many long-term friends. After retiring in 2006 he would travel across the country visiting those friends. In turn, they were always welcome to visit him wherever he was living. He had endless entertaining stories of true experiences that happened throughout his 80 years and many involved his working buddies.

Albert lived a full life, he was never idle and was always ready, willing, and able to lend a hand to anyone in need. He had a special compassion for anyone in need of assistance. He often drove people to medical appointments, or to places they wanted to go. He did many home repairs or mechanical jobs for people from New York to California and would never expect or accept payment. He was always the family’s go-to guy when something was broken.

He will be sadly missed by many and if you ever met him, chances are you will remember him because of his kindness, humor, or a story he told. He was a standout guy.
