Nina Josephine Hairfield

, 93, passed away peacefully on the evening of Monday, May 29, 2023.

Nina was raised in Ripley, NY before her parents, Laura and Eugene “Gene” Stevenson, moved to Virginia, where she met and married her husband of 60 years, James T. Hairfield, Jr.

She is survived by her five children, James (Teressa), Diane Burkett (David), Bob (Debbie), Ray (Cathy), and David (Katie); nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

There will be a private interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
