, 82, of Dunkirk, died on May 26, 2023 after a brief illness. The son of the late Felix and Delphine Jakubowski, he is survived by his long-time partner Nora Ramirez: siblings: Bill (Paula) Jakubowski of Dunkirk and Mary Volatile of Providence, RI; daughter, Lara Jakubowski (Sandeep Wadhwa) of Denver, CO and son, Alex Jakubowski (Amy) of Corsicana, TX, and grandchildren Ethan and Natalie Wadhwa..
A graduate of Cardinal Mindszenty High School and John Carroll University, he was a dedicated educator at the East Ferry Street Juvenile Detention Center and Renaissance House/Kids Escaping Drugs. He was a friend of Bill W. for 32 years. He will be dearly missed.
A celebration of life will be held at Harvest Chapel Free Methodist Church, 39 Matteson Street, Fredonia, on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 1pm. On-line condolences may be made at larsontimko funeralhome.com.
