Michelle (Shelly) Lynne Feser
Michelle (Shelly) Lynne Feser, 49, born and raised in Dunkirk, N.Y. entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 26, 2023. She was born on April 27, 1974, the daughter of Thomas Michael Feser and the late Suzanne Lynn (Meyer) Feser. She was a 1992 graduate from Dunkirk High School. She was baptized at Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Dunkirk and maintained a strong faith in God throughout her life.
Shelly’s passion was working with children. She worked for 14 years as a teacher’s aide for preschoolers at Esperanza Elementary School in Phoenix, AZ and five years at the Phoenix school for the deaf. She wholeheartedly embraced her nickname “Miss Michelle” from all of her students who adored her. Shelly had a beautiful soul and her friends and family near and far will always remember her for her kind heart, her infectious sense of humor and her love for animals. She was by far one of the quickest witted people out there. She was also the type of person who wished she could have saved every animal on earth. Shelly LOVED her pets, the beach, watching the sunset, seeing the storms roll in over the lake, comedy, thrift shopping, and collecting vintage toys she remembered from her childhood.
Shelly is survived by her spouse, Michael Schober of Phoenix, AZ. Her father Thomas Feser of Fountain Hills, AZ. Three sisters: Tamsen Feser Butske of Elyria, OH, Jennifer Feser Gwyn of Gainesville, GA, and Jill Feser Gallant, of Glendale, AZ. As well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was loved so very much and will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends.
At Shelly’s request, funeral/memorial services will be private. Donations can be made to the Lakeshore Humane Society in Dunkirk, NY or any other animal shelter.
