Barbara J. “Barb” Burmaster

She was born on June 19, 1928 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Rowland and Mary (nee Robinson) Roberts. She married Eugene D. Burmaster on May 21, 1960 in Corry, PA and he preceded her in death on April 28, 1998, after 37 years of marriage,

Barb is the loving mother of Charles “Chuck” Burmaster of Pleasantville, NY, James Burmaster of Irving, NY and Kathryn “Kate” (Maynard McClenathan) Niedbalski; cherished grandmother of Samantha (Matthew) Woodin, Paige (Tom Cruz) Niedbalski and Liam Burmaster. Loved by five great grand children and extended family member Mark Dolenuck

Barb graduated from Corry High School, “Class of 1946”. She was an accomplished pianist and organist who accompanied the Silver Creek School Choruses. She played the organ for the Trinity Episcopal Church in Fredonia, NY for many years retiring at 80 yrs old.

She enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, cross stitching , board and card games. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

As per Barb’s wishes services will be private. Interment will be in the Evergreen Lawn Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Barb’s memory may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Buffalo City Mission
