Diane Chase (Matuszak) age 72 was born Jan. 26, 1951 in Sandusky, Ohio, and died Aug. 1, 2023 at Brooks Memorial hospital in Dunkirk Ny.
She was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Louise(Schultz) Matuszak.
Survived by two daughters; Laura Markham of Ohio, and Debbie(Wayne) Oyer of Sheridan. And one Son, Jon(Phoebe) Long of Sheridan. 1 nephew James Centner of Florida.9 grandchildren: Amanda Zahm ,Alec Brown, Julie(Tim) Skinner. Sable, Ravyn ,and Akira Markham. Marah and Jon Long ,andJessica Cooper.18 great grandchildren. Many cousins also survive.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Elaine Centner, a son in law Kris Markham, A grandson Jeremy Long, and also her beloved dogs Oliver and Patches.
Diane loved bingo, her computer, genealogy, and ancestry . She was also a long time bowler. Her last place of employment was with Debell Vending Company. Diane had been living with frontal lobe dementia for the last 10 years and has now joined her family and loved ones that are waiting for her in heaven. There will be no calling hours as she had decided to donate her body to Ub. Prayers are appreciated . A private memorial will be held. A special thank you to Brooks Memorial Hospital , The Hospitalists, and all the nursing staff for making her last days as comfortable and dignified as possible.
