Gordon B. “Gordy” Rosenow

Born October 23, 1964 in Buffalo a son of Diana Bensch Rosenow of Stockton and the late Fredrick Rosenow, Sr.

He was employed as a woodcrafter and had been employed at various companies including, Chautauqua Wood, Dunkirk, Ethan Allen, Mayville, Dunkirk Ice Cream, Dunkirk and owned and operated GBR Construction.

Gordy enjoyed golfing, bowling and most of all being with his family and friends.

Husband of 23 years to Cheryl Giles Rosenow, who he married April 21, 2000; father of, Dacota (Cody) Ryan of Ashville, Dorianne of Westfield, Tinaya of Brocton and Timothy Giles of Jamestown; grandfather of 11 including Bethany Giles who he raised; great-grandfather of five; brother of, Charyle (Kirk) Tyler of Cassadaga, Laura Estus and Fredrick (De) Rosenow all of Stockton and Duane Rosenow, Sr. of Jamestown. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life is being planned for September 23, 2023. Time and place will be announced.
