Cathleen Ann Higgs, 65, of Forestville, N.Y., passed away peacefully at home on Thursday August 31, 2023. She was born in Buffalo on June 8, 1958, the daughter of the late Richard Ciambor and Emma Hewitt Murphy Ciambor.
Cathleen graduated from Brocton High School in 1976, privately cleaned homes for many years and worked at SUNY Fredonia where she retired. Cathleen enjoyed her flowers and garden bed, tirelessly tending to them. She also enjoyed weaving on her loom, making stained glass and her dogs- loved the dogs she had through the years!
She is survived by her husband, Dale A. Higgs, whom she married September 15, 2001; two sons: Jason Evans and Ryan (Candice) Evans; four grandchildren: Makenzie, Hunter, Sierra, and Addison; great-grandson: Kaymoni; two sisters: Patricia (late Stan) Konka of Bliss, N.Y. and Lynda (Richard) Gardner of Bliss, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
