Dennis E. Carlson

The son of the late Erling and Katie Carlson, he served in the United States Air Force. He was a Vietnam War veteran serving tours during the height of that conflict.

After his discharge from the service he spent a brief time in Washington and California working construction before moving to his beloved Colorado. There he enjoyed fishing and later became a school employee.

Dennis was very active in sports at Silver Creek Central High School being a standout athlete in football where he was selected All Conference as well as basketball and track.

He was predeceased by his wife Kathy Ann and his sister Kathy Lynn Stoll.

He is survived by brothers Tommy Carlson (Cathy) of Silver Creek and Craig Carlson(Vicki) of Bakersfield, California, a brother in law James Stoll of Forestville and several nieces and nephews.

Internment with military honors and a celebration of life was held in Nucla, Colorado with family members and friends.
