Jeanne L. “Kit” Scott

Perrysburg – Jeanne L. “Kit” Scott, 68, of Perrysburg and formerly Humphrey, passed away Monday, September 25, 2023 at Buffalo General Hospital.

She was born on January 1, 1955 in Bradford, PA, daughter of the late Robert and Nelly (Pierce) Graves.

For many years, she operated her cleaning business, Bustin’ Bunnies Cleaning, in Ellicottville. She was a proud member of the Humphrey Volunteer Fire Department being a NYS certified EMT and was also a former Humphrey Town Clerk. Kit was also a member of the Ellicottville American Legion and enjoyed being in its horseshoe club.

Kit is survived by two daughters; Christina (Kyle) Shultz of Perrysburg and Serena (Scott) Cooper of Buffalo, as well as a sister, Janet Kaiser of Buffalo, and three grandchildren; Presten, Leah, and Aurora. She is also survived by her loving pet pig, Sweet Pea, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Kit is predeceased by a grandchild, Hayden, a sister, Jane Graves, and a nephew, Eric.

Friends may call on Thursday, September 28, 2023 from Noon to 2 pm from Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 411 Rock City St. in Little Valley. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2 pm from the funeral home. Burial will be in Jolls Cemetery in Perrysburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
