Ann Stewart
Ann Stewart, 75, of Silver Creek, N.Y., formerly of Fredonia, N.Y., died Monday November 20, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo. Ann was born December 31, 1947 in Dunkirk, the daughter of the late James and Carol (nee Smith) Stewart.
She has a brother, James Stewart Jr.
She lived with her parents in Fredonia, N.Y. until 1964. Ann spent many years in New York State operated developmental centers until 1989 when she found her forever home with People Inc. at the Hanover group home in Silver Creek. Ann had many housemates and caregivers she considered family.
Ann also attended the State Operated Day Habilitation program in Fredonia for many years, until formally retiring in 2020.
Visitation will be Thursday November 30, 2023 at the LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Avenue, Fredonia, N.Y. from 11am-12 noon, where a funeral service will follow at noon.
