Denise L. Abersold

She was born March 11, 1964 in Cheektowaga, NY, the daughter of Dennis Kotlowski and Shirley Godfrey Kotlowski.

Denise attended Cleveland Hill, then Cassadaga Valley High School. In earlier years Denise worked in retail and was currently employed by Community Bank, NA in Cassadaga as a Customer Service Representative for 21 years.

A perfect way to describe the way Denise lived her life was that she kept hers and Rudy’s clothes color coded in their closet, the vacuuming was done in perfect lines, and the throw pillows were just so.

Denise enjoyed remodeling her home and gardening in her flower beds.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years Rudy Abersold, her daughter Nicole (Dennis) Nopper, a son Kory (Jillianne) Higgs; three grandchildren that absolutely adored her Nora Nopper, Lennox and Crosley Higgs; her father Dennis (Charlene) Kotlowski; a brother Keith Kotlowski (Sue Ritter); and a sister Katie (Josh) Santelli.

She was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Kotlowski; her brother Michael Kotlowski and step father Paul Donahue.

The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Denises funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. A private burial service will be held in Cassadaga Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
