Kenneth R. Mourer

He was born April 24, 1961 in Dunkirk, the son of the late Richard and Irene (Debeck) Mourer. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth A. (Stobb) Mourer; and four siblings: Timothy Mourer of Dunkirk, Suzanne Mourer of North Carolina; Judy (Mike) Willoughby of Dunkirk, Michael (Wanda) Mourer of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

A lifelong Dunkirk resident, Kenneth was a graduate of Dunkirk High School, class of 1979. He had been employed by the town of Dunkirk Highway Department, retiring in 2022.

Ken was an active member of Harvest Chapel Free Methodist Church in Fredonia. Ken was loved by all and loved all in return. Ken lived to serve Jesus, and was active in the community with his best friends Butch and Loretta Pierce.

A memorial service will be held Saturday Nov. 25 at 11 am with lunch to follow at Harvest Chapel Free Methodist Church 39 Matteson Street Fredonia NY 14063. Arrangements are by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home.
