COLLINS — Cheryl A. Gernatt age 67 of Collins passed away Saturday December 2, 2023 at the Mercy Hospital in South Buffalo surrounded by family.
Born in Gowanda October 24, 1956 the daughter of Clarence and Marian “Elaine”(Woodmancy) Cole.
Cheryl married Leonard “Richard” (Nessi) Gernatt August 23, 1980 at the former St. Francis Cabrini RC Church in Collins Center, NY. Nessi passed away unexpectedly June 20, 2016.
Survivors include their children Joshua Gernatt of Collins, Cody (Amanda) Gernatt of Collins and Trevor Gernatt of Eden. Grandchildren ; Cora and Canon Gernatt. Siblings Cindi Cole of Tampa, Fla. , David (Diane) Cole of Sullivan, IL and Patricia Cole of West Seneca.
A private family graveside service will be held.
Arrangements are by the SCHINDLER FUNERAL HOME 44 Center St. Gowanda.
If desired, memorials may be made to a local charity of ones choice.
