Karlene A. Taylor
Karlene A. Taylor, 86, passed away, Thursday morning, Dec. 28, 2023, at the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Monroe, WI, on Dec. 31, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Margaret (Sery) Frey.
Karlene was a LPN at Brooks Memorial Hospital for 25 years. A person with a big heart, Karlene would help anyone in need and always had her beautiful smile on.
Karlene enjoyed traveling, reading and her faith. She also participated in a womans softball league. She loved all animals especially her cats.
Surviving are her children Gary (Peggy) Taylor of Mariana, FL, Jamie (Annabelle) Taylor of Brocton, Krisanne (Robert) Frank of Sinclairville, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren survive.
Preceded in death in addition to her parents are her husband Harry Taylor whom she married October 6, 1956 in New Castle, PA and died January 7, 2017, their son Dodge Taylor August 22, 2006 and grandson Jonathan Lleras February 4, 2020.
