Loralyn “Lorie” Colvenbach

She was born on December 18, 1956, in Gowanda, daughter of the late Elmer and Coralyn (Exford) Colvenbach.

For many years, Lorie worked as an aide at the former JN Adam’s in Perrysburg as well as the WNYDDSO group homes following its closure. Lorie enjoyed her friends and family, especially going out to eat at the local restaurants, and talking with her friends. Lorie was happy to take care of her friends and family members, being known as the family caregiver.

Lorie is survived by a sister, Carla (Russell) Chadwick of East Concord, and a brother, Bob (Cheri) Colvenbach of Silver Creek, as well as many step-siblings. She is survived by her three nephews, Bruce Colvenbach, Greg Lancaster, and Parker Colvenbach, and two nieces, Nicole Colvenbach and Lyric Colvenbach, as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Besides her parents, Lorie is predeceased by a brother, Shawn Colvenbach, and several step-siblings.

Friends may call on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 2-4 pm from Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 105 East Main St. in Gowanda.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
