Margaret L. Borio

She was born July 16, 1929 in Dunkirk, the daughter of the late Oreste and Theresa (Rossino) Borio.

A lifelong area resident, Margaret was a graduate of Dunkirk High School, class of 1947. She had been employed at Sidey’s Department Store and was a member of Holy Trinity RC Church and the Eastern Star.

\Survivors include one niece, Barbara (Jim) Borio-Green; twin sons whom she was reunited with after many years, David (Molly) Golando and Daniel (Debbie) Golando; three grandchildren, Joy Golando, Grace (Carey) Golando-Beyer, and Gregory Golando; and two great-granddaughters.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Fred Borio.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, Dec. 3, at 2 p.m. at the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home. The Rev. Molly T. Golando will officiate. Burial will be in Portland Evergreen Cemetery, Portland, NY.
