Clinton Perry Kamery passed away on Sunday at the age of 85. An only child, Clint grew up in Olean, New York. After graduating from Portville High School in 1957, Clint began his 50-year career as a residential contractor and builder.
One of the last true craftsmen, Clint is well- known to his customers for his high quality craftsmanship. He served clients across western New York, working from Buffalo to Erie, with the majority of his projects in the Dunkirk-Fredonia area. Clint completed several projects on Fredonia State University campus, including what is now the familiar alumni house.
Clint took great pride in his work, saying “Word of mouth is the best advertising.” His business quickly grew and thrived throughout his career on client and supplier references.
Clint is preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Marion; and daughter Shari.
He is survived by his wife Kathy; children Jim, Deb, Kevin, Kris, Brian, Michael, and Laurie and spouses; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life in honor of Clint will be held in the spring at Family Church located at 19 Church St, Fredonia, NY 14063.
