Lana and Ray married in October 1960, which was the start of Lana’s most treasured accomplishment by raising and instilling love in her children, grandchildren and in later years great-grandchildren. Lana was gifted with the loving touch that could cure a scraped knee or a broken heart. Lana’s nurturing heart extended to her beloved cat, Panda Paw. She could often be found soaking up the fresh air, mowing her lawn, watching the sky and birds by day and stoking a campfire by night surrounded by all her loved ones sharing laughs and highlights of her life’s stories. In her spare time, Lana enjoyed bringing a smile to the faces of her dearest family and friends by plastic canvas creations and sending messages of love. Lana had zest for life and adored going on adventures with Ray, traveling, venturing into new businesses, and enjoying time with those she held dear.

Her family and loved ones will miss the matriarch of her loving family. They will forever hold her close to their hearts and keep her memories living on with the Austin legacy. Lana, breathe easy and spread those wings as your new adventure awaits.
