Keppel, Lawrence J. of Dunkirk, entered into rest Jan. 19, 2024. Beloved companion of Reva Byczynski; devoted father of Sian Keppel and Melissa (Tony) Sanders; cherished grandfather of Devin Brown and Alexander Sanders; loving son of the late Albert and Rita Keppel; dear brother of Rodney (Mary), Thomas (Sally) Albert (Linda) Jr., William (Denise) Keppel, and the late Barbara Rose, and the late Gregory (Linda) Keppel; also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. No prior visitation. A Celebration of Lawrence’s life will be held at the convenience of the family. Lawrence was passionate about Drum and Bugle Corps since his teenage years. He participated in many throughout the WNY area and was currently on the Board of Directors for the Hamburg Kingsman and formerly on the Mighty St. Joe’s Drum and Bugle Corps. Larry also participated in the ”Ghost Riders” Drum and Bugle Corps. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lawrence’s honor may be made to ConnectLife.
