Denise L. Olsen

She was born in Dunkirk on Sept. 24, 1963, the daughter of Norley (Matter) Richter, of Forestville and the late Harold Richter, Jr.

Denise was a graduate of Forestville Central School, Class of 1982 and at one time worked for Bailey Manufacturing and the former Forest Lanes Bowling Alley, both in Forestville. She enjoyed bowling, reading and her dogs.

Survivors include a step daughter, Shannon Olsen, of Wisconsin; three sisters, Stacey (Chris) Kulpa, of Cassadaga; Tammy (Garry) Olsen, of Forestville; Vickie Richter, of Fredonia, two brothers, Bob (Shirley Pogue) Richter, of Findley Lake; and Randy (Kris) Richter, of Forestville. Also surviving are two step-grandchildren Derek Provenzano and Brandon Dykeman, several nieces and nephews and best friend Beth Benchley. Besides her father she was predeceased by a brother Harold “Butch” Richter III, a sister Cheryl Lidlow and best friend Nate Stevens.

Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main St., Forestville on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM from where Funeral Services will be held Saturday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment will follow in Forestville Cemetery.
