Paul Alfred Moldenhauer

Paul Alfred Moldenhauer, 82, of Fredonia, NY, a beloved husband, father and friend, passed away Monday March 25, 2024 peacefully at his home.

He was born in Dunkirk, June 5, 1941 to the late Otto and Evelyn Moldenhauer.

Paul dedicated three decades of his life to working at National Fuel Gas where he ultimately retired. After retiring, he served as a driver for BOCES, for an additional several years. Paul was also a devoted patron of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Dunkirk, NY. Paul had a passion for collecting clocks. His collection was a testament to his appreciation for craftsmanship. Paul also enjoyed getting out on the open water. Having owned several boats over the years, found tranquility in being on the water. He also found joy in the simple task of mowing the lawn. With several lawn tractors in his collection, he found peace meticulously working on his green haven.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 5 years, Sandy (Nixon) Moldenhauer; loving children: Cathy (Keith) Martin, Karin (Pete) Rubino, Paul (Jeanie) Moldenhauer and Ken Molderhauer (Bonnie Griesemer); stepchildren: Christine Crocker, Alisa Dickson; grandson, Jacob Gambino and stepgrandson, Ben Crocker. He also leaves behind a brother, Peter (Barbara) Moldenhauer; sisters: Mary (Duane) Gier and Margarette Braun.

May Paul rest in peace, surrounded by the gentle ticking of his cherished clocks.
