Born on March 21, 1942, in Salamanca, NY, he lived a life characterized by hard work, service, and devotion to his family. Early on he worked as a parts man at a John Deere Dealership also working on farm equipment. Ronald found his true calling in dairy farming, a passion he pursued for 14 years. His commitment to providing for his community didn’t end there; he started Triple C Trucking (after his daughter names), working in the gas and oil field; moving heavy equipment doing excavation work across Western New York and Pennsylvania for 22 years. After that he went on to sell lubrication products for Texas Refinery Corporation utilizing the experience he gained.

His enthusiasm for agribusiness and education led him to serve on the Brocton School Board of Education, the Bethany Camp Board of Directors, and the Westfield Maid Grape Co-Op Board of Directors. Furthermore, his deep faith was reflected in his role as a trustee for the Brocton Baptist Church.

Ronald was a beloved husband to his surviving wife, Alice (Wright) Cunningham, and a nurturing father to his children, Christine (Gary Drocco) Cunningham, Cara Bentham, and Corrine Roberts, and his step daughter, Sherri (Clayton) Morrison. He found great joy in his role as grandfather to Abigail, Kayla, Bryce, Ty, Ayden, and Evie. His brother, James (Renee) Cunningham, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, also survive him.

Ronald was predeceased by his first wife Martha, his daughter Corrine, his parents, Allen and Eleanor (Burroughs) Cunningham, and his brothers Thomas and John Cunningham.

Above all, Ronald cherished being a dairy farmer, and enjoyed his time as a concord grape famer as well as spending meaningful time at church and creating memories with his family and friends.
