Roy G. Lobell, a native of Corry, PA, and a long-term resident of Westfield, NY passed away peacefully on March 9, 2024. Born on February 23, 1940, to the late George and Verna (Sherman) Lobell, Roy led a life marked by service and dedication.
A proud United States Army veteran, Roy continued his commitment to society as a policeman in the Village of Westfield, where he later served the community in various capacities as a village worker. His steadfast presence and work ethic left a lasting impact on those he served alongside.
He is survived by his common-law wife, Jeanne Ruch; his siblings Dennis Lobell and Brenda Hull; his children Mark Lobell, Stacey Bafaro, and Danny Lobell. His brother Gary Lobell precedes him in death. Roy was a cherished grandfather.
Roy G. Lobell’s memory will be treasured by his family and the many lives he touched. His legacy of service and love lives on through his descendants and the community he helped shape.
Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Internment will be in Westfield Cemetery
