Sally Jean Pryll
Sally Jean Pryll, 61, originally from Dunkirk, New York passed away on Feb. 8, 2024 surrounded by family at ECMC trauma center after a short illness.
Born on April 11, 1962, Sally was the youngest daughter of the late Leonard and Norma (Lus )Pryll,
She is survived by one Son Daniel Mancuso of Dunkirk and one granddaughter Shilo Galardo. Also surviving are her older Siblings Richard Pryll of Dunkirk, Marilyn Engwall of Dunkirk, Steve and Pauline (Ginley) Pryll of Oklahoma and Barbara Bundy of Dunkirk and several nieces and nephews.
Sally will be remembered for the love of her Son and granddaughter, love of music and most of all for being a Jokester. Everyone she knew can think of a funny phrase or incidence that Sally said or did that made us laugh, often to the point of tears. She could lighten any mood and was a good friend to everyone. Sally was an outstanding cook having worked as the AM Sous Chef at the Sheraton Four Points (now the Clarion) and was known especially for her homemade soups and Kluski noodles. Many will remember her from the Deli at Bells in Dunkirk where she made sure the hot food cases were full and delicious and everyone was happy.
There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date and a GoFundMe account has been set up to help defray Memorial expenses. Rest in Peace Sally you will be missed and thought of often.
