Sharalton “Ralt” Wilson

Sharalton “Ralt” Wilson

On Friday March 15, 2024 Sharalton “Ralt” Wilson passed away peacefully of natural causes in his home after battling multiple health issues for many years. He lived a radiant life. Any room that he walked into was lit up by his presence.

He was an avid sneaker collector, his favorite being Retro Jordans. If you knew him, you knew he always had a new pair of sneakers with an outfit to match. He loved to take trips to new cities and travel out of the country with his girlfriend, Arriell. His favorite place he has been was Aruba, which he frequented often. He said it was the most beautiful place he’s ever been, “just like the pictures”.

He was a die-hard Yankees and Carolina Tar Heels fan. Ralt also had a passion for music. He was always the first to have new music downloaded but loved his old school and his all-time favorite, Jay-Z. His passion for music tied right into his love for foreign and fast cars. If he was coming down the road, you heard him from a block away whether it was the sound system or the engine roaring.

Of all the things he took pride in having, his most prized possessions were his two beautiful children, Tyrek and Milan. He loved being their father, watching them grow and guiding them in life.

He is survived by his significant other Arriell Catalano, two children Tyrek and Milan, maternalmbrother Clarence (Katie) Jessie, chosen brother Vincent (Ellie) Lockett, nephew Tyler Davenport, great niece Ivy Davenport, parents Winifred Jones and Leonard Wilson and so many friends and extended family members who loved him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his best friend Greg Orcutt and grandmother Cynthia Watts.

Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours on Fri., March 22 from 4-7 p.m. at McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Sat, March 23 at 10 a.m. at McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home. Interment in St. James Cemetery in Westfield.
