Stephen E. Brunswick
NORFOLK, Va. — Stephen E. Brunswick, 57, of Burksdale Road, Norfolk, Va., died Sunday, March 10, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Jamestown on July 4, 1966, the son of the late Alton and Norma (Beaver) Brunswick.
Stephen was a graduate of Pine Valley Central School, Class of 1984 and worked as a self employed contractor in Norfolk, Va., for over 30 years.
Stephen was a die-hard Chicago Bears fan who enjoyed grilling food and cooking for his neighbors, watching tv and old movies, ’70s and ’80s classic rock music, taking his dog “Shorty” to the beach, and socializing with friends at the Harbor Inn.
Survivors include a son Austin Spelts, of Norfolk; a sister, Laurie Brunswick, of South Portland, ME; three brothers, Douglas (Sally) Brunswick, of Chesapeake, Va.; Brian Brunswick, of Cherry Creek; Timothy (Colleen) Brunswick, of Fredonia. Also surviving are several nieces & nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Mike & Marty Brunswick and his beloved dog “Duke”.
Services are private and interment will be in Cherry Creek Central Cemetery. The family suggests memorials may be made either to any Animal Shelter or to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
