DAYTON, NY –Jason M. Hawkins age 44 of Dayton passed away Wednesday evening April 17 , 2024 at the Erie County Medical Center after a courageous lengthy health battle he has fought for nearly 10 years .
Born in Springville, NY June 5, 1979 the son of Ernest and Sharon (Miller) Hawkins.
Survivors include 2 daughters; Alexis ( Aaliyah Hughes) Hawkins of Dayton. Arianna (Leonard) Parsons of Jamestown . Grandchildren ; Katerina Parsons,Emma Parsons and Zariah Spencer along with a grand daughter Jason was so looking forward to witnessing the birth of Gianna Hawkins in August of this year .Jason is also survived by his sister Christy Hawkins of Dayton along with Aunts and Uncles; David (Anne) Miller of Frewsburg , Timothy Miller of Perrysburg , Amy Miller of Collins and Donald Hawkins of the Phillipines . Several cousins also survive as do his 3 dogs that were his baby’s and are mourning his loss ; Gunner, Cooper and Riley.
Jason was preceded in death by his father Ernest Nov. 27, 2000 and his mother Sharon Feb. 21, 2018
Friends may call Monday April 22, 2024 from 11:00am to 1:00pm from the SCHINDLER FUNERAL HOME 44 Center St. Gowanda where funeral services will take place at 1:00 following calling hours on Monday from the funeral home .
