Ann L. (Crise) Mulkin

Ann L. (Crise) Mulkin, 70, of Fredonia, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo. Ann was born in Dunkirk on Sept. 3, 1953, the daughter of Michael and Antoinette (Biscaro) Crise. On April 5, 1975 she married her husband, Bruce Mulkin. The couple had been married 49 years at the time of her passing. Ann earned her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree at SUNY Fredonia. After graduation, Ann started her education career journey at St. Joseph’s Catholic School, then to Erie2 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES and eventually to Cassadaga Job Corps where she served as Director of Education and Training. In 1992 she joined her husband at the Paper Factory in Fredonia, where she was the driving force in the success of the business until retirement in 2022. Her dedication to her customers and her employees was unparalleled. Ann had a generous spirit and especially loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. She had many interests. Ann enjoyed reading, sunsets and pink flamingos. Ann also enjoyed spending time at the pool in Florida and on the lake at home. She loved both the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres.

Ann is survived by her husband, Bruce Mulkin; her brother, Michael (Kelly) Crise of Fredonia and her sister, Donna (Don) Horton of Williamsville; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents: Michael P. Crise and Antoinette Biscaro Crise.

Visitation will be held at the LARSON-TIMKO Funeral Home, 20 Central Ave., Fredonia, today from 3-7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony Church, corner of Cushing & Orchard Sts., Fredonia, Saturday at 10am. Please assemble at the church.
