Eleanor F. Carlson passed away peacefully May 14 2024,surrounded by her loving family. She resided in Boiling Springs SC at the home of her daughter and son in law Brenda and Roger Peterson).
Eleanor was born May 14, 1925 in Silver Creek NY. She was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Frances (Perillo) Christopher.
Eleanor was a long time resident of Dunkirk NY before moving to North Carolina then South Carolina. Eleanor loved to bake homemade bread she always had a loaf to give to others. Her peanut butter cookies found their way to the firemen and police station in Dunkirk. She also loved to feed the birds (she always said feed the birds and you will never go hungry). She loved horses and horse racing.
Eleanor is survived by her two daughters Roxanne(Marlene) Waters of Grandville Mi. Brenda and (Roger) Peterson. Of Boiling Springs SC. Six grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her three sons, Donald, Max and Robert Waters. Three brothers Daniel,Joseph and Henry Christopher. Six sisters, Louise Christopher, Theresa Griffith, Mary Suski, Linda Palmatiei, Irene Tofil and Jane Bromley.
A service will be held at a further date.
