Linda C. Ferry

Linda was born in Dunkirk, NY on November 4, 1954 to the late Leonard Lentz and Florence Burek. She is a graduate of Dunkirk High School and retiree of Verizon Phone Company.

On August 14, 1976 she married the love of her life, Kenneth Ferry Sr. Linda and Ken, along with his children, made their home in Laona, NY. In 2002, the couple moved to Largo, Florida and lived there until her passing.

Linda is survived by her husband, Kenneth Ferry Sr.; and step-children, Kenneth (Susan) Ferry Jr. of Fredonia NY; Wyatt Ferry and Daniel (Karen) Ferry, of Dunkirk, NY; Sandra Ferry of Cassadaga, NY; Athena Ferry of Sebring, FL; Eric (Diana) Ferry of Riceboro, GA; and Brian Ferry of Ludowici, GA.

She is further survived by four sisters; Diane (late Richard) Marcilliott of Niagara Falls, NY; Christine (Robert) Kuras of Dunkirk, NY; Laurie (Don Malek) Brewster of South Dayton, NY; and Irene Goot of Cassadaga, NY. Sister-in-law, Judy Burek of South Dayton, NY. Niece Amy (Jared) Meyer of Portland, NY, along with their children, Joseph and Eleanor, who affectionately called her “Ciotka.” Several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also survive.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents; Step-father, Peter Burek Sr.; brother, Peter Burek Jr.; step-son, Renee Ferry; niece, Rebecca Emke; and her mother-in-law, Lois Bradley.

Linda will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. To honor her wishes, there will be no funeral service. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
