Sylvia E. (Skurzewski) Wilson

Raised in Dunkirk, she graduated from Dunkirk High School, class of 1980 andmGeorgia State University. Sylvia was married to Donald M. Wilson, who passed away in March 2021. The couple was married 27 years at the time of Donald’s passing.

Sylvia was employed as a Senior Auditor of Clinical Trials for Regeneron ]Pharmaceutical Co. Her career required her to travel extensively and visit numerous locations throughout the world, experiencing many new exciting places and cultures along the way. One year she actually logged over 1 million miles in the air.

Sylvia is survived by: her mother, Inge (Tom) Gooch of Lakewood, NY; her brother, Peter J. Skurzewski of Fredonia, NY; nephews: Paul T. Skurzewski (Lindsay Farmer), of Salt Lake City, UT and Mark A. (Jennifer) Skurzewski of Batavia, NY; and great-nephew, Patrick J. Skurzewski of Batavia, NY

She is predeceased by her father, Cass J. Skurzewski and sister-in-law, Cheryl A. Skurzewski.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 145 E. Main Street, Fredonia, NY, Friday June 28, 2024 at 10 am. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dunkirk, NY.
