Charles J. Pfeifer

Chuck was born in Gowanda, February 8, 1943 the son of Clarence and Lovina (Shearer) Pfeifer.

On June 2, 1962 Charles married the former Irene Farner at the St. Joseph’a RC Church in Gowanda. A farmer, Chuck was a partner with Farner Farms Inc. He and Irene enjoyed the trips taken with the Collins Center Seniors after his retirement.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years Irene (Farner) Pfeifer, their children ; Joseph (Jennifer) Pfeifer of Collins and Jeffrey (Barbara) Pfeifer of Collins, grandchildren; Ashley Hall ,Collin Pfeifer, Gabriella Pfeifer, Scott Pfeifer and Aliza Watson. Great grandchildren Blake and Dax Boundy and Bennett Watson. Chuck is also survived by 2 sisters; Marylou (late Harold) Reynolds of Hamburg, Dorothy (Tim) Smith of Gowanda. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides his father Clarence (1979), mother Lovina (1994) Chuck was preceded in death by his brother James Pfeifer.

Friends may call at the SCHINDLER FUNERAL HOME 44 Center St. Gowanda on Friday from 4:00-7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday August 3, 2024 at 11:00am from the St. Joseph’s RC Church, East Main St. Gowanda ( please assemble at church)
