Frank Kasprzyk Jr.

Frank Kasprzyk Jr., age 89 of Dunkirk, NY, formerly of Cheektowaga, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Buffalo General Hospital surrounded by his family.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Janet J. (nee McCubbin) whom he married on Dec. 29, 1994; his beloved son David (Paula) Kasprzyk; two cherished granddaughters Kaitlin and Lindsay Kasprzyk; a dear sister Dorothy Dyke and his Yorkie dog Gypsy. He was born on June 27, 1935 in Buffalo, NY the son of the late Frank and Angeline (nee Michalski) Kasprzyk Sr. He is predeceased by his daughter Kimberly Kasprzyk Knight, a step-daughter Mary Howden, a sister Margaret Kasprzyk and two brothers Donald (Carole) and Michael (Joanie) Kasprzyk.

Frank is also survived by ten “Chosen Children” Ruth Nichols, Chris Creasman, Elaine Sitarek, Maureen Gentner, Holly Palczewski, Cindy Freer, Terry Herter, David (Anne) Madigan, Sandra (Len) Paryz, Patrick Madigan and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

Following high school, Frank proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. He worked at the Ford Motor Stamping Plant in Blasdell until his retirement. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and he enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing.

Frank’s memberships included the American Legion in both Eden, NY and Dunkirk, NY, the Moniuszko Social Club, the Columbus Club, and Senior Citizen’s Club, all in Dunkirk, NY.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday, July 22, 2024 from 4-7 PM at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home, 21 Pierce Ave., Hamburg, NY. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Flowers are gratefully declined.
