Donald (Don) A. Vara Jr.

Don is survived by his wife of 15 years, Judy (Kaminski) Vara, and his children: Donald III (Alexandria), Desiree (Chris), Justyn, Eric (Jessica), Adrianna, and stepchildren Trisha, Tracy, Melissa, Andrew. He leaves behind 9 grandchildren: Donovan, Olivia, Kadence, Hudson, Jayce, Sophia, Tony, Gabriella, and Amber. Don is also survived by his two brothers Rodney (Karen) and Kevin, along with several nieces and nephews.

Don attended Fredonia High School and graduated in 1974. He proudly served in the US Marine Corps as a Sergeant in the Charlie Company, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Brigade Division unit for 6 years and was a proud Vietnam Veteran.

In his free time, Don enjoyed riding motorcycles, cooking/barbecuing, and hanging out with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, wit, and dedication to his family.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
