Nancy Susan (Sheehan) Tyler

Nancy was born March 31, 1937 in the City of Dunkirk to the late Viola (Layne) and Harold Sheehan, where she grew up with her parents and brother, Jerry Sheehan. After graduating from Dun1955, she resided in Dunkirk and married the late William C. Tyler in February of 1957. She was employed at the Cassadaga Valley School District in dietary, as well as Heritage Village as an aide.

Nancy later moved to Venice, FL, where she was employed in a hospital.

Nancy was a very active community member and a loving lady to everyone she encountered. She was a member of the Cassadaga Legion Post 1280 Auxiliary and the Home Bureau and loved sewing, crocheting, and crafting in her spare time.

Nancy is survived by her former mother-in-law June Greathouse of Brocton, her three sons; Kirk (Charyle) Tyler of Cassadaga, Kevin (Shelly) Tyler of Phoenix, AZ, and Kris (Barbie) Tyler of Woodstock, IL; as well as being heavily devoted to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, former husband, daughter, Christine Tyler, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

There will be a private ceremony and celebration of life with family and close friends at a later date.
